Omena Giles

Administrative & Engagement Assistant (she/her)

Omena has spent the majority of her career in nonprofit outreach and environmental education. Combining her bachelor's degree in conservation biology from the University of Minnesota with her love of connecting with people through education, she worked as an outdoor educator across the country and as a park ranger for the National Parks Service during the beginning of her career. After moving back home to the Twin Cities, she spent almost 2 years with the Science Museum of Minnesota connecting with schools and communities through STEM educational programs. Now she is excited to unite her passion for conservation with her experience in nonprofits through Clean River Partners. When not in the office, she enjoys reading, crafting, and planning her next outdoor adventure!
