Planned Giving Options
-
Bequests
This is when you specify in your will or trust that Clean River Partners will receive a part of your assets after your passing. Making a bequest can help reduce estate taxes and is a wonderful way to leave a positive legacy. You can easily include this in your will with the help of an attorney.
Example language to use: “I give an amount or percentage to Clean River Partners, Northfield, MN, EIN: 41-1674744, to be used for its general tax-exempt purposes but without other restriction as to use.”
-
Beneficiary Designation Gifts
This option allows you to name Clean River Partners as a beneficiary of your retirement account, bank account, or life insurance policy. Among the most flexible options, this is a great way to support a cause you care about while still using your account as long as needed. Additionally, it can simplify your estate planning and potentially reduce taxes for your family. To do this, contact your account manager or insurance agent for a new beneficiary designation form. Once you fill it out and return it, Clean River Partners will receive the designated funds after your passing.
Example language to use: a percentage to Clean River Partners, Clean River Partners, Northfield, MN, EIN: 41-1674744
