Big Woods Ecosystem Hike

Minnesota’s Big Woods is a unique forest full of many different plants and animals. Join us on a hike at Nerstrand Big Woods State Park to discover what makes it special and how it has changed with time.

Our hike will cover approximately 1.5 miles of mostly flat, packed earth and gravel trails. Comfortable, closed-toed hiking shoes and a reusable water bottle will help make your experience more enjoyable.
