Jared Langer

Board Member (he/him)

Jared grew up in Red Wing, Minnesota, fostering a deep connection with the Cannon River watershed that has inspired his commitment to conservation. He earned a bachelor's degree in Aquatic Biology and Environmental Studies from Bemidji State University, graduating in 2021. With experience as an Invasive Species Project Manager and an Environmental Resource Specialist for Ramsey County, Jared is well-equipped to address environmental challenges.

Jared is pursuing a master’s degree in Conservation Science and is passionate about clean water advocacy in the watershed that sparked his love for the outdoors. As a board member, he seeks to connect with fellow environmental stewards and educate the community on the importance of a healthy river ecosystem. He is committed to enhancing local partnerships, supporting habitat restoration, and promoting policies to protect the Cannon River. Through outreach and hands-on projects, he aims to inspire lasting stewardship of this vital resource.
