David Wagman
Board Member (he/him)
David is an experienced communicator who spent his career making complex topics in the energy sector accessible to diverse audiences. His work included organizing conferences, hosting webinars, launching editorial products, and mentoring writers and content creators. That background gives him a strong foundation for helping Clean River Partners strengthen and expand its reach.
Beyond communications, David brings a systems-level perspective on resilience and sustainability, including writing on strategies communities can adopt in response to extreme weather and flooding. As a recent volunteer with Rice County Habitat for Humanity, he has also seen firsthand how thoughtful design and building practices can benefit families and the environment alike.
David lives in the Cannon River watershed and believes strongly in the power of local action to create ripple effects far beyond a targeted area. He looks forward to advocating for strategies that benefit both the environment and neighbors in the watershed, and to connecting Clean River Partners with people and organizations that can help advance its mission.
